Tips to Improve Handwriting

I have been told many times that I have really neat handwriting. However, I find that the reason that so many people find my handwriting to be neat is because it's consistent. Here are some of my tips to help improve your handwriting or make it more consistent!

Tip No. 1:

Designate the ratio of how tall your letters will be. I usually make my small letters half the line and the big letters about 3/4 of the line.

Tip No. 2:

Space out your letters evenly. I also try to avoid slanting towards the right or left when I'm writing.

Tip No. 3:

Apply even pressure when writing. Although you don't want your letters to be super light, you also don't want to apply too much pressure as it makes it harder to control the pen.

Tip No. 4:

Make sure that you're gripping the pen so that it's comfortable but easy to control. I like to rest my pen on my middle finger, and between my thmub and pointer finger.

Tip No. 5:

Find a specific font or style that you want your handwriting to look like.

Tip No. 6:

Practice makes perfect!
